Hi, my name is Maish Saidel-Keesing and welcome to my piece of real estate on the web.

I’m a Senior Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services. I spend my days helping developers build things, break things, and figure out how cloud actually works in the real world.

I write about cloud, automation, developer tools, and whatever else grabs my attention. If it can be automated, it should be. That’s the hill I’ll die on.

My latest project is The Cloudwalkabout - a book about my journey through the world of AWS.

I also co-authored the VMware vSphere Design book and the OpenStack Architecture Design Guide and participated in the technical review of a number of publications.

I am married to the most wonderful woman, the love of my life, and have 3 amazing and beautiful daughters.
